Announcing Our Nominations for The Pushcart Prize

Hello, Dear Chum,

Thanks for stopping by! It’s good to see you. It’s been a busy year—but the year isn’t over yet! We’re roughly a month away from the release of Issue 4, a whopping triple-issue print anthology featuring the best of the year, the winner of our annual Dead Herring Prize, and a whole slew of new treasures. But before then, we’re pleased to announce our nominations for The Pushcart Prize:

Growing Garlic / a poem by Jim Daniels

Satisfaction / a poem by Sara Burge

Crickets Provide Sex Advice / a poem by Will Falk

The Spirit of Life in Your Nostrils / short fiction by Gaby Zabar

Lofgeornost / a poem by Eric Fisher Stone

Summer Leaves Us / a poem by Mary Ellen Shaughan

We’ve received so many excellent submissions this year. In fact, we could’ve picked six nominations at random from issues 2 and 3 and still been happy with the selections. And for this and so much more, we are truly thankful. And thank you, dear reader. We’ll see you again real soon, promise!

Cheers,

Ope
