Oh wow, a Portland journal? That’s pretty cool. I like Portland. Chuck Palahuniuk wrote a book about Portland. That guy writes some wild stuff. Have you ever seen Fight Club? Better question: have you ever read Fight Club? I bet Typehouse woulda published it.

Bourbon Penn is one of my favorites. Period. Have you ever eaten magic mushrooms and then watched the Wizard of Oz on mute while listening to Dark Side of the Moon? Bourbon Penn is kinda like that.

I guess the Jersey Devil is supposed to be like a guedo chupacabra or something. I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious, so I stay out of the water at the Jersey Shore. Dam, I hated that show. That was around the time MTV started eating its own tail. RIP. At least Jersey Devil Press is still keeping it real.
Phantom Kangaroo
Phantom Kangaroo is another home for stellar (and interstellar) oddities. Their name is based on the real-life phenomenon of kangaroo footprints and sightings in places there couldn’t possibly be kangaroos. That’s so neat.
Uncanny Magazine
Oof. Okay, so: like Typhouse, submitting to Uncanny Magazine is like shooting at the moon. But we should always shoot for the moon. You heard me, moon! Look out!
